Day 25 — The Freaking Louvre

When people say the Louvre is gigantic, they're not kidding! So many sculptures, paintings, stairs... Experiencing this building and its contents really does change you, though. Simply being within the walls of a place you've heard/talked about your entire life is a monumental feeling. I probably don't have anything original to say other than how impressed and impacted I was by its intricacies, intensity, and sheer scale. Overall, I was just honored to be in the presence of such notable history and talent.

After the (f)art museum (Beia, get it together), we explored the gardens and stopped in a book shop. We made our way to our favorite park and read/napped in the glorious shade (it was hot!). Finished the day off with dinner in the Latin district and headed home for some much needed sleep. Stay tuned for where tomorrow brings us!
