Day 20 — The Adventure Continues in Hillerød

I had so much fun in Hillerød that I just had to come back! Today was fairly uneventful but filled with unplanned, relaxed adventure (just how I like it!). I rode the train up to Hillerød and trekked across town to my Airbnb for 30 minutes (much farther than I expected) with a heavy suitcase dragging loudly behind me on the cobblestones.

Did my presence just scream American tourist? Yes (I booked a taxi for tomorrow morning, don't worry). I then

explored Hillerød a bit more on foot before walking (and dreaming) through the Frederiksborg gardens one more

time. I finished out the evening with a table for one (power move) and some ice cream by the pond. Sounds like

the perfect day to me!
