Today was filled with lots of exploring and art absorption. The Louisiana Museum of Contemporary Art in Humblebæk, Denmark is truly one to write

home about. The architecture of the building itself

is breathtaking as it provides a refreshing backdrop

for the exhibits within its walls. While I was only able to explore a portion of the museum, I was so honored to experience a Yayoi Kusama exhibit (pictured to the left) as well as be in the presence of works by Andy Warhol, Picasso, and Diane Arbus. This museum does not stop at the inside, though. The sculpture gardens surrounding the building are the perfect integration

of art within the natural flora and fauna of Denmark. Laying on the perfectly soft grass fields, surrounded

by flowers and sculptures, and feeling the warm sun on my skin was just what I needed after weeks of rain.

We ended the day with a trip back up to Denmark's northern coast to dip our toes in the freezing ocean water. After countless 20,000+ step days, though,

the cold water and warm sand is the perfect remedy (the fresh seafood doesn't hurt either!).

Tak,

Beia
